You work from a laptop and want a month or three in Antwerp. You need a real desk, a cable for calls and a kitchen, without signing a lease or living in a hotel room. Here is what a stay at Hoost looks like, and when it does not fit.

Digital nomad accommodation in Antwerp with a desk and a cable

Digital nomad accommodation in Antwerp at Hoost means a furnished apartment where work is part of the setup. Every apartment has a dedicated workspace with Wi-Fi and an Ethernet connection. The building runs on a Telenet fibre line. We have not measured a speed, so we do not quote one.

What you find in every apartment:

  • A dedicated workspace with Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port.
  • A kitchen with cooking basics and a dining table.
  • Bed linen and towels, heating and a TV.
  • A double bed in every bedroom.
  • Electricity, heating and water included in the price.
  • A shared washing machine and dryer in the building.

There is no meeting room in the building. For a client meeting or a day among people, see our guide to coworking in Antwerp. It lists spaces near Antwerp South with a day pass.

Which apartment suits a digital nomad in Antwerp?

The right apartment for a digital nomad in Antwerp depends on whether you travel alone or work next to someone else. The ground floor suits one person or a couple. The three 2-bedroom apartments let two people take calls in separate rooms.

Hoost apartments for remote work

Apartment Bedrooms and guests Suits Worth knowing
Ground floor 1 bedroom, up to 2 guests A solo nomad or a couple Private garden, own entrance, the only apartment with air conditioning
First floor 2 bedrooms, up to 4 guests Two people who both take calls Terrace with an outdoor table and training equipment
Second floor 2 bedrooms, up to 4 guests A second bedroom as a quiet room Kitchen with a stove and microwave
Third floor 2 bedrooms, up to 4 guests Two remote workers sharing One bathroom plus a separate toilet

If you travel alone, we suggest the ground-floor apartment with garden. The garden gives you somewhere to step away from the screen, and the own entrance keeps late calls private. If you work as a pair, look at the first-floor apartment with terrace or the second-floor apartment.

How long can digital nomads stay at Hoost?

Digital nomads can stay at Hoost from 2 nights to 6 months in one booking. After 6 months, a stay continues with a new booking if the dates are free. Book a week to test the city, then extend if the apartment is still available.

How long you may stay in Belgium is a separate question. It depends on your nationality and the Schengen rules, not on us. Our guide on the Belgium digital nomad visa sums up what the official sources say, including the 90 days in 180 rule.

Important

Hoost does not allow address registration. Your domicile stays where it is now. That works for a short stay, but not for a long-stay permit that requires you to register at the municipality.

When Hoost is not the right choice

Hoost suits a remote worker who wants a quiet apartment and a proper desk. It is not the right choice when:

  • You must register your address, for example for a residence permit or a long-stay visa.
  • You want a coliving community with shared events. Each apartment is private and self-contained.
  • You need a meeting room on site. Use a coworking space instead.
  • You want daily cleaning or a reception. Cleaning is per booking, with extra cleaning on request for longer stays.
  • You want to live in the historic centre. From Antwerp South, the centre is a tram ride away.
  • You travel with a pet. Pets are not allowed.

If it fits, send us your dates and tell us how you work. We reply within 24 hours with the apartment that suits you and the price.

Every apartment has Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port, on a Telenet fibre line in the building. We have not measured the speed, so we do not publish a figure. For important calls, plug in the cable.

Is cleaning included on a stay of several weeks?

Every booking ends with a cleaning. On longer stays, an extra cleaning can be arranged roughly every two weeks, at extra cost. Bed linen and towels are provided once, when you arrive. There is no daily housekeeping.

Can my client or employer pay for the stay?

Yes. Hoost can invoice a company. Mention the company details when you send your dates.

How do I get a price and book?

Online booking is not live yet. Send your dates through the form, by email or on WhatsApp, and we reply within 24 hours with what is free and the price.

Do you help with visas or permits?

No. Hoost provides the apartment, not immigration support. Check your situation with the Belgian embassy for your country or an adviser before you book a long stay.
