Terms of use
These terms apply to your use of hoost.be. Terms for a stay are set out in the booking confirmation and on the booking and cancellation page.
Draft of 15 September 2026. This page has not yet been reviewed by a legal adviser, and some details are still being confirmed by Hoost.
Who operates hoost.be
hoost.be is operated by Tanguy De Keyzer, trading as Hoost. Full company details are on the Legal information page.
Information on the website
- Apartment details come from the apartments’ listings and from Hoost, and each detail is shown only when it has been checked. If something is unclear, ask us before you book.
- Photos show the actual apartments. Furnishing and decoration can change over time.
- Availability and prices are not published. They are confirmed per request.
- Guest ratings and reviews are shown with their source and date, as written by guests.
Enquiries and proposals
Sending an enquiry does not create a booking and does not commit you or Hoost to a stay. How a proposal becomes a confirmed booking: A booking is confirmed once you have our written confirmation naming the apartment, the dates and the total price. Until then the dates stay available to others.
Terms for company and project bookings: A stay can be invoiced to a company. Electricity, heating, water and Wi-Fi are included in the price. A cleaning fee is charged per booking, and the Antwerp city tax is not included; both are shown on top of the accommodation price.
Bookings through other platforms
If you book a Hoost apartment through Airbnb, the terms, payment conditions and cancellation policy shown on Airbnb for that booking apply.
Photos and texts
Rights to the photos and texts on hoost.be, and how they may be reused: The photos and texts on hoost.be belong to Hoost. Please do not reuse them without our written permission.
Liability
We take care to keep the information on hoost.be correct and up to date, but it can contain errors or become outdated. Photos and descriptions give an impression of the apartments; what is stated in your booking confirmation applies. We are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of this website, for temporary unavailability of the website, or for the content of other websites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms and your stay are governed by Belgian law, where the apartments are located. Disputes are handled by the courts of Antwerp, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live. If you have a complaint, contact us first at info@hoost.be; consumers can also ask the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumentenombudsdienst.be) for help.
